Delivery Agency Policies
SellAfrrik partners with delivery agencies to ensure safe and convenient delivery of products. Agencies operate as either pickup stations or provide door delivery if the customer opts for it.
1. Registration & Compliance
- Delivery agencies must provide accurate company details, valid licenses, and insurance information.
- Agencies must comply with all local laws and transportation regulations.
- All staff and drivers must be trained and certified as required.
2. Pickup Station Responsibilities
- Receive parcels from SellAfrrik dispatch centers and store securely until customer collection.
- Upon receiving a parcel, update its status to "At Pickup Station" in the SellAfrrik system.
- Updating the status automatically notifies SellAfrrik, the Vendor, and the Customer via SMS, email, and system notifications.
- Maintain a safe, accessible, and organized location for customers to collect their orders.
- Notify customers promptly when their orders are ready for pickup.
3. Door Delivery Responsibilities
- Only perform door delivery when the customer specifically requests it.
- Deliver items promptly to the customer’s provided address.
- Update parcel status to "Delivered" once the customer receives it.
- Updating the status automatically notifies SellAfrrik, the Vendor, and the Customer via SMS, email, and system notifications.
- Report any delivery issues immediately to SellAfrrik.
4. Communication & Tracking
- Keep the SellAfrrik system updated in real time with all parcel status changes.
- Communicate proactively with SellAfrrik and customers in case of delays or issues.
- Maintain reliable contact channels for customer inquiries.
5. Prohibited Conduct
- No tampering, theft, or unauthorized handling of packages.
- No unsafe driving or traffic violations during deliveries.
- No misrepresentation of delivery times or services.
6. Liability & Insurance
- Agencies are responsible for loss or damage to parcels while in their custody.
- Insurance coverage must be maintained for all shipments.
- Follow SellAfrrik claims procedures for damaged or lost items.
By partnering with SellAfrrik, delivery agencies confirm they have read, understood, and agreed to these policies, including the parcel status and automatic notification system.
