Delivery Policy
SellAfrrik ensures safe, transparent, and timely delivery of all orders through our integrated system. Vendors ship products to SellAfrrik, after which we handle delivery via our partnered delivery agencies.
1. Order Status Lifecycle
- Pending: Order created; vendor notified to confirm availability.
- Order Being Prepared: Vendor confirms stock and prepares items for shipment.
- Dispatched: Vendor ships product to SellAfrrik; system notifies customer and SellAfrrik.
- At Pickup Station: Parcel received at delivery agency; notifications sent to customer, vendor, and SellAfrrik.
- Delivered: Customer collects from pickup station or receives door delivery; all stakeholders notified.
- Cancelled: Order cancelled before delivery or due to issues; system triggers notifications and refund workflow.
2. Vendor Shipping Responsibilities
- Vendors must ship products promptly to SellAfrrik after payment confirmation.
- Products must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
- Once received by SellAfrrik, vendor’s responsibility ends.
3. Delivery Agency Roles
- Delivery agencies act as pickup stations; customers collect parcels there.
- Door delivery is only done if requested by the customer.
- Agencies update parcel status as “At Pickup Station” or “Delivered” in real-time, triggering notifications to SellAfrrik, vendor, and customer.
4. Customer Notifications & Transparency
- All stakeholders receive notifications via SMS, email, and system alerts at every status change.
- Customers can view parcel status and history in real-time on their order page.
- Afrrika Pay Wallet integration ensures refunds, reimbursements, or payments are transparent and recorded in real-time.
5. Delivery Timelines
- Delivery times vary based on location and delivery type.
- SellAfrrik monitors and tracks every parcel to ensure timely delivery.
6. Lost or Damaged Parcels
- Delivery agency and vendor must immediately report lost or damaged parcels.
- SellAfrrik investigates and ensures resolutions, including replacements or refunds via Afrrika Pay Wallet.
7. Afrrika Pay Wallet Integration
- All internal transactions including refunds, payments, and reimbursements use the Afrrika Pay Wallet for fast, secure, and transparent processing.
- Vendors refund SellAfrrik, who refunds the customer; delivery agency payouts are also handled through the wallet.
- All transactions are logged and visible to stakeholders in real-time.
