Managing Orders

Vendors can view the status of all orders received but cannot change the order status. SellAfrrik and the customer control the order lifecycle. Vendors participate by shipping items to SellAfrrik and processing refunds when necessary. All notifications are automated to keep customers, vendors, and SellAfrrik updated.

Order Status Lifecycle

Status Description Vendor Action
Pending Order created; vendor notified to confirm product availability. Verify stock and prepare for shipping to SellAfrrik.
Order Being Prepared Vendor is shipping the product to SellAfrrik or SellAfrrik already has it ready for dispatch. Ship products to SellAfrrik if not already delivered.
Dispatched SellAfrrik has shipped the product to the delivery agency (pickup station or door delivery). No action required; track shipping progress.
At Pickup Station Parcel has arrived at the delivery agency; notifications sent to customer, vendor, and SellAfrrik. No action required; ensure product reached SellAfrrik safely.
Delivered Customer collects from pickup station or receives door delivery; all stakeholders updated. No action required; verify successful delivery if necessary.
Cancelled Order cancelled before delivery or due to issues; refund workflow handled by SellAfrrik. Pay any applicable refund; SellAfrrik updates status.
