As a SellAfrrik delivery partner, your agency is responsible for receiving parcels from our dispatch centers, storing them securely, and managing pickup station operations efficiently. This ensures a smooth customer experience and accurate tracking.
1. Receiving Parcels
When parcels arrive from SellAfrrik dispatch centers:
- Check the parcel manifest against the physical parcels to ensure accuracy.
- Verify parcel labels and tracking numbers.
- Immediately update the SellAfrrik system to reflect “At Pickup Station” status for all received parcels.
2. Secure Storage
Proper storage protects parcels and ensures smooth pickup operations:
- Store parcels in a clean, organized, and safe area.
- Separate parcels by size, delivery type, or customer for easy retrieval.
- Keep fragile or high-value parcels in a designated secure area.
- Maintain environmental conditions as needed (temperature, humidity) for sensitive items.
3. Managing Pickup Station Operations
Your pickup station is the primary point of contact for customers collecting parcels. Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and organized station for customers.
- Training staff to handle customer inquiries politely and efficiently.
- Verifying customer identity before handing over parcels.
- Updating parcel statuses in real-time after pickups.
- Communicating any issues (missing parcels, damage, or delays) promptly to SellAfrrik.
4. Reporting & Notifications
Use SellAfrrik’s system to:
- Log all parcel arrivals and pickups.
- Trigger notifications to customers that parcels are ready for pickup.
- Track overdue parcels or delays and report to SellAfrrik for follow-up.
- Ensure every parcel movement is traceable to maintain transparency and customer satisfaction.
5. Handling Returns
- Receive returned items from customers at your pickup station.
- Package and ship them back to SellAfrrik dispatch centers promptly.
- Update all statuses in real-time to reflect the return process.
Remember: SellAfrrik manages all refunds and replacements; your role is strictly to handle the physical parcel.
