Accurate tracking updates are essential for maintaining transparency across the SellAfrrik delivery network. Delivery agencies are required to update parcel status in real-time to ensure automatic notifications are sent to SellAfrrik, vendors, and customers.
1. Required Status Updates
Delivery agencies are only responsible for updating the following statuses:
- At Pickup Station – Update immediately after receiving parcels from SellAfrrik at your station.
- Delivered – Update immediately after the parcel is handed to the customer (either at pickup station or via door delivery).
2. How Notifications Work
When either of the above statuses is updated:
- The customer automatically receives a notification.
- SellAfrrik receives real-time confirmation.
- Vendors are notified of successful delivery.
No manual messaging is required if updates are made correctly and immediately.
3. Best Practices
- Update status immediately after the action occurs.
- Ensure staff verify the correct tracking number before updating.
- Do not delay updates, as this affects automated notifications.
- If an error occurs, contact SellAfrrik support immediately for correction.
4. Important Reminder
Delivery agencies only handle physical parcel movement and status updates. All refunds, disputes, and vendor communications are managed directly by SellAfrrik.
